Caixa Forum Madrid 01

Caixa Forum in Madrid, Spain. Built by Swiss architects Herzog and de Meuron. The interior has gallery space, a restaurant and a pretty cool bookstore. The book store alone is worth the stop if you are in the area. This image is from the underside of the building, as in most H&dM projects, the actual entrance is hidden within an area of ambiguous interior/exterior space nestled underneath the mass of the building. It created quite interesting lighting conditions being in the dark space lit from all sides by the bright sunlight.
