berlin haufbahnhof - central train station
this was the first thing i saw upon entering into berlin. we took an all night train from munich and got to berlin bright and early the next morning, the only problem being that the train stop was so short that about 8 of our group of 11 didn't manage to get off the train in time before the doors slammed shut and it sped off again. so this picture was taken in the two hours spent waiting for the rest of the group to catch back up to us at the central station. cool place though, i think it is fairly recent construction and the scale of it is just enormous. i would sooner call it a mall than a train station. |
